I always find this stuff difficult to write. It either sounds really boring, or really poncy. Oh well, here goes.
My name is Jackie (though most people online know me by the name Zenith, which I actually prefer). I'm 33 years young, married, and have a 14 year old daughter (who is far too smart for her own good).
I've been around the internet under various guises since 1992 (ish), and have always had a keen interest in web design. I'm no pro (at least not yet), but I do love to tinker with websites, particularly CSS. I actually met my husband through my first website (which was very crude by todays standards), in 1996. I've been a user of WordPress almost since its inception, and have worked with and maintained vBulletin installations for longer than I care to remember (probably around 5 or 6 years). I love nothing more than to install new bits of web software to try new things out, and well, just for kicks really. Some people say I'm a geek, though I can't think why.
Online gaming has been a passion of mine since I began playing Ultima Online after picking up a free trial CD on the Christmas 2000 edition of PC Gamer. I played that game for 4 years before moving on to others such as Star Wars Galaxies and Dark Age of Camelot. To date I've played lots more online games (including WoW, which I was none too impressed with), but these days I'm something of a part timer in the gaming world. Being the administrator for my guilds forums and website however, I keep in close touch with the world of gaming, and am currently venturing into Lord of the Rings Online.
I love music, and couldn't live without it. From death metal to trance, my tastes are varied, but metal has always been a mainstay for me. You can check out my last.fm profile here.
