Voltaxx ist Studioschrauber, Plattensammler, Hundevater und Vegetarier. Populär wurde sein Remix des unglaublichen "Sexy Girl" von Inga Humpe und Tommy Eckhart (2raumwohnung). Ein weiterer Streich war sein Remix des Kultsmashers ,,Satisfaction" von Benny Benassi. Inzwischen hat er internationale Größen wie Tito & Tarantula oder Sinead OConnor geremixt. Voltaxx - ein Musik Junkie? ,,Ich mache Musik so lang ich denken kann, ein Leben ohne könnte ich mir gar nicht mehr vorstellen!" Seine Tracks sind schubladenfrei, als lege er wert darauf sich nicht zu wiederholen und stattdessen Grenzregionen zu entdecken. ,,Ich liebe Songs die man nicht einordnen oder kategorisieren kann, Stilmixe aus verschiedenen Richtungen und Epochen - eben irgendwie genreübergreifend". Ob nun Raptiles "Fight back" oder Oomphs "Gott ist ein Popstar", es gibt nichts zu Exotisches, aus dem er nicht schon einen abgefahrenen Remix gebastelt hätte... Voltaxx hält sich im Hintergrund, doch wenn er zwischen Produktionen die Zeit findet, legt er immer mal wieder gerne auf. Und auch gesanglich ist er auf der ein oder anderen Scheibe vertreten - so watch out

Voltaxx describes himself as a tireless studio buff, notorious record-collector, dedicated perfectionist and full-blown vegetarian. Voltaxx' former tracks and remixes were released on trendbreaking labels like superstar Recordings, Goldrush, Urban, Vandit and Alphabet City. He is quite taken by vocal-tracks with smooth beats; he likes to combine those with a highwire-walk between House and Electro, never willing to permanantly side with just one style. His most popular Remixes of 2raumwohnung "Sexy Girl" and Benny Benassi "Satisfaction" are causing quite a stir among the disciples of Tech-House and in the clubs allover the place. It is part of Voltaxx philosophy to seek the inspiration of small, top-of-the-line clubs with transcending ambience in order to freeze-frame that experience in the studio.
