Just released a split 7'' with John Sars.
After having released simultaneously two split 10 inches with Disco Doom and Cortez and taken part to the soundtrack of "Rollow", a film by Emmanuelle Antille, in 2006 Ventura has given birth to its first album, entitled "Pa Capona", which means, in case you were wondering (and admit it you are wondering), don't give up, don't be a pussy, in the dialect of Savièse. Up to you to discover the reason of this choice. The sound was the job of Patrick Matthey, and the artwork was executed by Mario Suter. Valérie Niederoest of Toboggan fame, made us the pleasure of singing on one title (Thoughts and Speeches, the oldest track to have made it onto the album). We are very proud of this record and we hope that if it falls into your hands (or in between your ears) you will like it as much as we do. We are now ready to play your town this autumn. We'll play some shows in Switzerland and a small French tour this autumn.... If you are interested to book a show or to simply speak with us, don't hesitate to get in touch using info@vntr.net

La diagonale du fou says:
