VIRB

well, i do shoot in a rather dark manner, but i am not limited to it. i just love to shoot in dark conditions because of the way that i started shooting i guess. i began shooting my boyfirends' band at the time and they always played in some hole in the wall joint. so i started getting frustrated and wanted to make the best of it as possible and found that it can be done, you can have clean and clear pictures and they are ever more emotion and mood then bright happy pics. then i moved on to rock-u-mentary and loved it even more so. loved how you had 10-15 min to shoot crazy and amazing people on stage that moved too much and with lighting that changed by the second. it's a nice rush. and very rewarding when you get a shot like the one of audioslave with tom in the air. BTW that was an OLD OLD ass camera i used on that, a canon A-1... it is ALL MANUAL. i have to load film MANUALLY into that thing. while everyone around me was digitial... HA HA HA HA. looking back now i am so shocked. insane.

so i guess it leaked into my fashion work as well...i love dark and theatrical lighting...a lot of people think i am nuts when they see how i shoot etc. i am fine with it. :)
