You have a short attention span. I know. Your time is valuable and you might just click your back button right now. That's fine. But honestly, God bless you. I know that might sound childish, but sometimes I wish I was a child again. Remember those days? The days of innocence and untainted love.

I can't confess to something I am not. I cannot pretend to be something I am not made to be. The only thing I can do is to be honest. The honesty within my spirit is the only thing that will keep me breathing. I believe people need to be honest with themselves and with others. If we can't be honest then I think a part of us fails as humans.

The right thing to do always seems to be the hardest. Forgiveness is always difficult, whether you are right or wrong in a situation. Forgiveness is a humbling thing. It's not easy, yet, it needs to be done, and once it is accomplished it makes life so much better. So much easier. I think the hardest part about forgiving is letting down pride. Pride, to me, is the opposite of love. I don't think hate is the opposite of love. Why? Well, people who hate something are pretty passionate about hating that certain thing. Love is passion, just in a different light. Pride is everything love is not. Pride comes before the fall.

Be honest. And as my friend, Pope St. Victor says, "Be Awesome."
