St. simons Island is a beautiful barrier island in the "Golden Isles" of the Southeast Georgia coast ... we're about 1 hour south of Savannah, GA (down I-95) and one hour north of Jacksonville, FL ... Brunswick is the port city ... one of a string of the "Golden Isles" like St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Cumberland Island, etc.
