Uniform Motion is the studio and stage name of Andrew Richards.

The name Uniform Motion was inspired by a book called Monsters and Magical Sticks by Steven Heller, and refers to the idea that we are all stuck in a straight line and that the only way of changing that trajectory is to collide with something, or someone; otherwise referred to as being stuck in second gear!

In June 2008, Uniform Motion launched Uniform Motion Pictures, an innovative approach to releasing music in the digital world.
Uniform Motion Pictures is a Multimedia Internet series created by Uniform Motion, illustrator, Reuno, with the support of fellow musician, Trevor O'Neil, CDM Studio, and filmmaker, Soline Rampillon.

Every two weeks, a new 'episode' is launched on the Uniform Motion Pictures website, with a live performance of a song from a CDM Session shot the week before, an interactive digital booklet containing the lyrics and a comic strip, as well as the track itself, freshly mixed at CDM Studio.
