I love music and can't imagine life without it. I also am called and love to teach and preach the bible. My full time job is being an assistant pastor in a church based in Northern Va. If you are ever in Leesburg Va. feel free to stop by Cornerstone Chapel and say hello, we would love to meet you.
ABOUT THE MUSIC:
The first 2 tracks of tunes in the player are from a band that I was in back in 98ish to 2000ish called Comet Orange. We were a 3 peice and I really love the music that we were making. I only have these 2 tracks of recorded music originally recorded on a reel to reel, then to cassette, then to mp3, hence the quality. So I hope you enjoy them. The next 2 tracks are from a band that I played in for 3 years. We traveled up and down the east coast, opening for bands like "The Verve Pipe" and Bad Haggis and playing a ton of fesitvals. The last 2 tracks are of sermon's that I gave to the middleschoolers at my church on sunday morning's. I hope you are blessed if you listen to them. I may be posting more in the future.
I have lots more to write about myself and family but we will add that at a later date.

Encouraging words from 1 Corinthians 1:17 (must read) Oct 18
I was looking at this verse today and it just caused me to stop and think about it. This is what initially came into my mind. If you are stuck in some sort of situation and seem to be running from person to person to find an answer I hope this may speak to you. In Christ we are not destined for this planet and this is not our home. Rest will come at just the right time, but until then you have a power supply that is available.

I sure wish I was. I'm not doing much of my own thing at this point, but I'm hoping to at least do some touring with another artist or band. Take it easy. -Matt
