All of the stuff on my label Modern Radio. too much to list right (or ever) now but I would say I like the following groups: Bjork, Bangs, Racebannon, B-Day Party, Mirah, The Sound, Pop Group, Friends Forever, Beatles, Ten Grand, Lifter Puller, Otis Redding, Neko Case, Sleater-Kinney, Arab on Radar, Thin Lizzy, The Chameleons, Velocity Girl, Low, US Maple, Radiohead, Signal To Trust, Belle and Sebastian, Magnetic Fields, Morrisssey, The Smiths, Lungfish, Fugazi, Sam Cooke, Total Shutdown, Bratmobile, The Who, XTC, The Vets, Volante, Dillinger Four, Will Whitmore, Microphones/Mount Eerie, The Blow, Joy Division, New Order, bad classic rock radio (at times), Queen, Black Sabbath, Wolf Eyes, STNNNG, MC5, The Lyres, The Liars, Gang of Four, Au Pairs, Kleenex / Liliput, The Clash, .... just to start. There is a ton of great music out there, too much mediocore music and some music that should have never been made that is totally hilarious (see anything with Michael McDonald or any actor who decided he should make a record.), The Cardigans, Komeda, Rites of Spring, The Gossip, Gene Defcon, Ted Leo, Rocket From The Crypt, The Rondelles, Black Flag, Sicbay, 9 Shocks Terror, The Shins, Calexico, Le Tigre, Bikini Kill, Q and Not U, C Average, The Fucking Champs, The Casual Dots, Sonic Youth, Superchunk. Lily Allen, TV on The Radio, Yellow Swans, Smegma, Burning Star Core, T.I.T.S, The Monks, Danielson, Sufjan Stevens, The Chambermaids, The Danforths, Cave Deaths, Malachi Constant, Vampire Hands, Styrofoam Duck, Gay Beast, Seawhores, FT (The Shadow Government), Sweep The Leg Johnny, Chooglin', Falcon Crest, Total Fucking Blood, Shotgun Monday, Teen Eagle, Charles De Gaulle, The Evens, Depeche Mode, etc etc. I haven't updated this list in awhile but these bands are still good and so are a lot of new bands that I hadn't heard of or just started. This list could be updated constantly with bands from the Twin Cities.

lots of documentaries, films about music, foreign films, etc including In The Mood for Love, The Devil and Daniel Johnston, The Wes Anderson films, Amelie, City of Lost Children, City Of God, Favela Rising, Instrument, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lord of the Rings(all three), Cohen Bro's Films(Big Lebowski especially), Lost in Translation, Pootietang, The Jerk, Dead Man, Wet Hot American Summer, Motorcycle Diaries, A Very Long Engagement, 7 Years in Tibet, Little Miss Sunshine, Hero, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, 2046, Raise the Red Lantern, 24 Hour Party People, We Jam Econo, that Gram Parsons documentary that I can't remember the name of right now, Zoolander, etc etc
Why I hate doing about you sections
Boy, I hate doing these over the internet. I am relatively open book. I like interesting people. I love living in the Twin Cities but I love traveling just as much. I try to find a good balance between the two. I run a label called Modern Radio. The rest you can find out if you like.
Interests
music, politics, word games (scrabble, boggle, etc), cooking, travel (international and road trips), learning or improving skills (sewing, how to find good shit at garage sales, etc), riding my bike, seeking adventure, playing basketball, sanrio, guitar hero, learning new languages, hanging out with awesome, interesting and creative people.community building, HSCO, MRMB
