INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY Mar 9
today is international womens day. for me it's a day of reflection on the way women are treated/portrayed in our world. i recently spoke at a jr. high camp, and i felt the largest tension in the camp existed between who the jr. high girls were and who they thought they're supposed to be. today i watched geena davis talk at the national conference for media reform. she talks about the way young girls are portrayed in the media and talks about the way in which she is working for change...
