I like the texture and the overall feel... reminds me of the Dementors in the Harry Potter series (which is a good thing in my book).
I also like the unusual color choices. Purple never reminded me of death.

I agree, I'm really digging the pink and chocolate wisps at the shoulders of the reapers. I love that effect, that mixture... very evocative of the ephemeral, which I think is quite apt given the subject matter.
On a more superficial level, I think the crows look badass... I love the awkward/unnatural positioning. I keep thinking, birds on a wire... for some reason.
