All work an no play makes me a very grumpy girl, unfortunately it's been like that for a few weeks now. Good thing you guys don't have to work with me :P I've been doing 1-3 hours overtime (unpaid of course) a night so by the time I get home I'm so bloody tired, I just have a bite to eat then hit the sack. Well that is when the idiot upstairs stops playing his insanely annoying techno. I've started going up there and telling the little shit to turn it down, he's so stupid or self absorbed he doesn't get that not everyone in the universe loves techno especially at 4.45am on a Wednesday. If he keeps it up the boys in blue will be visiting him next as he is actually breaking the new noise pollution laws. I'm sooo happy he's turned me into the grumpy bitch downstairs but I've really had it with him, I love my sleep! God help anyone who gets in the way of it.

In other news my lovely old iMac has finally given up the ghost. So in comes a new player, a shiny new Dell laptop (pics included). The reason I got it was it looked like a good deal (under $1000) and as much as I am a Mac fangirl I just can't afford a new one at the moment. So this is my filler fully functioning computer. A bit of a novelty to me really as I've been fighting with iMac for quite a while. And this baby works like a dream I even managed to setup the wifi myself and the internet works marvellously the old 'puter was even plugged into the connection and it still couldn't manage to load webpages.

Also got a new Mac Pro at work, but for the first few days the networking was horrendous, everything took forever to load making all the work we had to do painfully slow. Still we don't have a back up for the server, if anything goes wrong with the PCs they have people on the phone and person out to fix it with in the day. But all the work, the actual work that they get paid for is on macs. Do the macs have a backup or a person we can call if they're any problems? Of course not, why would the computers that do the actual work need that? Sometimes I really wonder how the company I work for has been in business for 25 years.

My Japanese lessons are progressing, I feel like I get most of it when I go over it at home, but as soon as the teacher starts talking/asking questions I'm a bit dumbfounded. I'm trying not to be hard on myself about it, I just can't wait for the day when it all comes together and I can watch anime with the subtitles. :D

Have a good weekend everyone!
