GOOD STUFF: art (don't ya forget zee dancing!), horseback riding, reading, sight/festival/museum seeing, being with BrOcK, rainy days--we need the rain!--and fun for indoor cuddling!, clear sky-windy-sunny days--okay, maybe a cloud or two is fine--great for trompsing around, science stuffs, muzak-live music is lovely
I've been seeing so much amazing dance lately: Pilobolus, Paul Taylor Dance Co., Texas Ballet Theater, Univ. No. TX dance faculty choreo...some great things! Seeing Savion Glover tap dance with live accompaniment onstage behind him---(Happy Feet penguin dancer)--really neat. The NYC Rockettes put on a fun Xmas show--great for kiddies--really funny watching the fat mice on point shoes! So adorable!
..Great live music performances put on by Ruthie Foster, Nanci Griffith, Army of Anyone, Dropping Daylight, Hurt, Kelly Willis and her husband Bruce Robison, The Dixie Chicks, Fiona Apple....and I can't wait to see The Killers and Muse play at EdgeFest this year!!!!
I feel really blessed to experience such great entertainment! What a great world we live in! (Improvements are always needed, of course.)

'"There is a vitality, a life force, an energy, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique. And if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium and it will be lost. The world will not have it. It is not your business to determine how good it is nor how valuable nor how it compares with other expressions. It is your business to keep it yours clearly and directly, to keep the channel open. You do not even have to believe in yourself or your work. You have to keep yourself open and aware to the urges that motivate you. Keep the channel open. ... No artist is pleased. [There is] no satisfaction whatever at any time. There is only a queer divine dissatisfaction, a blessed unrest that keeps us marching and makes us more alive than the others"'
from The Life and Work of Martha Graham
