fires in san diego! i am writing this from my office in mission valley, and it is interesting how relatively calm it is outside. if you didn't know any better, you almost can't tell that the north and south counties are in a blaze. But look at a t.v. and all that you'll see is the fire coverage and all the areas being evacuated. evacuations galore!

i'm getting ready to get back home to el cajon, where luckily there has been no news to evacuate - we seem to be right in between the two big fires. hopefully, we won't have to evacuate, and the fires will bypass us. but if we have to, my family is ready to go at a moments notice!
