Tinyfolk

Pop / Folk

Bloomington, IN

Billboard

Tinyfolk is a ukulele-toting dryad (Russ Woods) oft-accompanied by a glockenspiel-wielding drag queen (Meghan Lamb) who cultivate a deep affection toward animals, plants, and a select group of protists, bacteria and fungi. They sing an assortment of joyus dirges and simple, apocalyptic pop confections, all of which stem from their deep commitment to spreading the ineffable gospel of entropy to the sanguine, bow-legged, shoeless masses.

Sic Semper Equis, the new Tinyfolk album, is now out and freely downloadable. Jun 7

Tinyfolk's new album, Sic Semper Equis, is a harrowing tale of forest
animals facing love and death at the hands of one of the classic enemy
forces of all time: Y2K. This concept album features guest
appearances from Redbear. and an emcee named Mike Lightning and is
quite the departure from the normal Tinyfolk way of doing things. You
can download it here: http://cllct.com/release/sicsemperequis

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov) Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany! Feel free to download my music!

I hope you know I really liked you. I said chumps in jest. Any one who has a Zizek book on tour is a-o.k. in my book. I love your music too. Anyway, I hope I wasn't too much of a drunk jerk when you visited on your tour. Peace.
