Tim Kuhl was born, in June of 1982, and raised in Baltimore Maryland, and studied jazz/commercial performance at Towson University. His focus was on drum set and marimba performance, which lead him to composing his own original material. Tim then moved to New York City and joined a rock'n roll band called The Izzys, which tours all over the U.S. U.K. and Ireland. Meanwhile, his Jazz group plays regularly in New York City. Musicians and listeners alike are turning heads to the music's aggressive yet melodic approach. The music is influenced in the style of Wayne Shorter, amongst others, who took jazz into an unknown and new direction in the 60's.
Tim has performed with many various artisit's from alex norris, josh davis, vardan ovesiapian, tim murphy, david stambler, ellen cherry, andy grimm, international accalimed NYC rock'n roll out fit, The Izzys, and much more.
