Since 1944, Youth Unlimited (Toronto YFC) has been reaching out to, and caring for, young people in the Greater Toronto Area from every culture and walk of life. Placing the highest value on grace, trust, hope and truth, Youth Unlimited specializes in guiding young people to "one more chance" when it appears there are no more. In 1991 the agency first began seeking out homeless youth too afraid, uncertain or untrusting of adults to seek help - those so deeply wounded that they would remain "hidden" before seeking the assistance of a shelter, drop-in centre or meal program.
