I fell into art as a major when I hurt my hand playing the classical guitar as a music major. I remember being so horribly dissatisfied with classical voice (my fall back because I'm a singer) that I cried out to God, asking what I could do instead. He answered, 'Digital Design and Production'.
So here I am once again, in over my head, in a field I know nothing about. But I am in love with design and all that DDP offers. As for my hand, I totally believe that Jesus Christ is my healer and that he is healing and has healed me (wrap your head around that!)
I love to play my guitar. I think it's ridiculosly cool. My dad's friend recently gave me an electric guitar, so I can't wait to play that!
Multicolored sharpies, burts bees lip balm, an Ipod brimming with killer tunes, Bare essentials make up, tubes of lip gloss, a half way decent cell phone, mechanical pencils, drawing pencils, kneaded erasers(cause they're freakin' awesome) and moleskin notebooks are my constant inanimate object companions when school is in session. I could live with nothing less.
I'm truly addicted to extra bold coffees with organic milk and raw sugar. Kels knows how much I love my organic dairy!
I love ridiculously creative people. They are the soul of my soul. I love to laugh and am fond of ppl who can make me laugh. Storytellers are also high on my list of people to love because I am a horrible storyteller...too many 'um's in the speech.
I'm sarcastic, dramatic, short, thin, loud, talkative, dreamy, a 'funny girl', I'm so totally a talk-singer, cute, tough, did I mention short? a musician, a worship leader, a beginner, a leader, creative, a singer, fierce...
I feel that music runs through my veins, and Worship makes my heart beat. Praise is my weapon and love is my banner to wave.
What I Doos
I like: painting, taking photographs, not failing any of my classes, drawing, playing video games with my brother and listening to the stories he tells, washing dishes, laughing, spending time with my sister...spending time with friends. I also love to listen to music and just absorb the melodies. Let it take me where it does. I love to worship. That is where I feel closest to the Lord.
