The SOUL CIRCUIT is a new network of Los Angeles' freshest artists, activists, and clubs. Every event has beats, live music, poetry, dancing, and community activism. The "CIRCUIT" itself is comprised of a select handful of Los Angeles' most historic and progressive venues. The greater purpose of SOUL CIRCUIT is to foster progressive urban art both creatively and monetarily.

SOUL CIRCUIT events mix music, poetry, dancing, food & drink featuring a new generation of artists that will make you move, think, feel, and rock the space. LA has a lot of amazing artists who bring together soul, funk, hip hop, blues and a whole host of other influences to their music. Too often these artists are lost in a sea of indie artists, both bad and good. Left to fend for themselves, these musicians, film-makers, poets, producers are all competing against one another for their ever-shrinking piece of the corporate pie. All the indie-labels are owned by major ones. All the majors can't afford to pay their staff. The gold standards of yesterday no longer apply; the record deal, the installation at a commercial gallery, a publishing deal for your verses. Now that you know you won't get your big break, that the handout you're waiting for isn't coming, that no fat-cat will pay your bills - You know you won't be discovered... All the development needed to make a great artist falls to the community you find yourself in! SOUL CIRCUIT takes all the best artists and put them on the same stage. A union of socially-conscious artists with the unified goal to inspire one another and the discerning public through great art that makes one think, feel, dance, and act. The shared support, encouragement, and vision they need starts here. SOUL CIRCUIT is partnering with a host of different clubs, venues, and theaters all over the LA basin that believe in progressive art. Their stages are ours to fill with grit, poetry, beats and movement.
