Who are The Chubby Chasers?
Before they were The Chubby Chasers, they were Chubby Chasers. Kid Creation, D-Form, and Drunk C were just three guys with two things in common, a love for BBW's and an obsession with making old school hip hop music.
The Chubby Chasers began out of pure love for BBW's. In 2006 the band members realized that there were others out there who loved Big Beautiful Woman as much as they did but there was no music out there that touched on topics that they were dealing with in their everyday life.
This was the start of something BIG. In July 2006 the friends formed The Chubby Chasers and immediately began working on songs to express their love for BBW's and plus size women.
The first song the entire group recorded together was "BBW BBQ", a perfect summertime jam that's all about having fun at the neighborhood pool party. The release of this first single landed the band some radio time on 97.1 FM in Los Angeles, a full page article in Bodacious Magazine, and a live appearance at Morongo Casino.
The group realized they were onto something huge and continued to do what they loved, make music about big women.
Almost 1 year after the formation of the group, the debut album "Mass Appeal" was independently released to critical acclaim. The album touches on many subjects that have never been approached by qualified MC's such as Craig's List, the taboo of dating big women, Clubbing, and relationships.
The album was an immediate success an landed the band in the January/Feb issue of Blender Magazine.
Even with their current success the band members have not stopped for a second. They are planning big things in 2008 including a follow up album and a few surprises including crowing Miss Chubby Chaser2007! Stay tuned because this year The Chubby Chasers are going to take the place size world over!!
