I'm a 1st generation Cuban. My parents left Cuba right before Castro took over. My mom is one strong, stubborn woman who has started her own business in every place she has lived. My dad was an incredible artist. He was a background illustrator for most of all the famous TV cartoons. The original Jetson's...the buildings, furniture, etc. ...that was my dad. He died in 2005 from ALS. I' m the only one in my family that was born in the states (Los Angeles). I grew up in Burbank but lived in North Hollywood. Moved to Eugene, Oregon when I was 15. I've been married for 18 years. We met in 1985 working/cooking together at Cafe Central (now Cafe Soriah) in Eugene. I'm the only girl and have four older brothers. I'm one tough cookie, so you usually don't want to fuck with me. "My emotions are like an Absolute Pepper Martini"

People
I like to meet new people who are my opposite. I like to learn how other's see the world. I'm not afraid to go to a party or out by myself. I enjoy the challenge of making new friends. In general I like people. Unfortunately, there are the arrogant ones that "never remember you" even though you have been introduced many times. I put them into a category...losers. Get over yourself!
What I like
Photography, art, becoming a better Photoshop Illustrator and pool player, MUSIC!, Bhangra!!, river rafting, great food, drinks, friends, DANCING! Late night and so much more. The real question is what don't I like...right?

There are so many more. I've been a lifetime two for one member at Flicks n Pics (over 1000 rentals) for over eight years. I've seen so many movies that I find myself renting them without remembering that I already saw it. I like dark, depressing movies.
