The Bunker is a small recording studio, fully fitted out with the latest digital trickery and analogue noisemakers. All modern conveniences, including air-conditioning, kindly on-site catering, full biscuit selection and rooftop views.

Anything is possible. The size of our space is the most obvious limiting factor, and is what limits us to semi-professional standards when it comes to large bands. For small groups and solo artists, we can compete with the big boys, although our coke delivery service leaves a lot to be desired. We can engineer, produce and mix your entire session.

I'm afraid so, but we like to think we do it right. For a day of recording with an engineer, we charge £100. Discounts naturally provided for longer-term bookings.

Yees. We have microphones:

1 Rode NTK, 1 Beyerdynamic OPUS 65, 1 Beyerdynamic M160 Ribbon Mic, 1 Nady RSM-2 Ribbon Mic, 1 Beyerdynamic M88, 1 Beyerdynamic M201, 2 Rode NT5 condensors, 1 Audio-Technica AT3035 cardiod condensor, Shure SM57 & 58s.

We also have everything you might need to create sound to send into these mics, i.e. a pearl drum kit, 200w Hartke Bass rig, 25th anniversary silver Marshall amplifier, various amps and keyboards.

Also provided, of course, is everything necessary to process the sounds you would like to make into how you would like them to sound. This can be achieved digitally on our Mac firewire system or analoguely, if such a word existed, on our Tascam 38 2" tape machine.

No problem. A popular money-saving endeavour is for us to provide you with the digital files of your session burnt to a DVD for you to take home and play with to your heart's content.
