I believe in free speech. I believe in integrity. I believe in independent journalism. I believe Fox News has become the punchline of media. I believe apathy is the new black, and that is why we will never have a revolution no matter how bad we need it. I believe internet killed the TV star...in the billiards room...with the lead pipe. I believe Marshall McLuhan was onto something. I believe Web 2.0 is changing the rhetoric of humanity, and the term "global village" has never been more relevant. I believe inventions like the Wii will influence interior design within the next ten years. I believe in being a shoulder for your friends to cry on, even when they are going completely bat-shit crazy. Face it, that's when they need it the most. I believe Nas was right, hip-hop is dead. I believe civil liberties are dying. I believe 1984 was meant to be a work of fiction, not a prophecy - and I'd like it to remain that way. I believe DRM is crippling the entertainment industry. I believe this nation has become so PC that we are more concerned about what people say (Don Imus) more than we are about what people do (The Bush Administration). I believe neo-conservatives are bastardizing religion, neo-liberals are getting way too fucking uppity, and everyone needs to take a goddamn chill pill. What I cannot believe, however, is that you've read this entire thing. So tell me, what do you believe?
