Team Strike Force

Alternative / Indie / Emo

Seattle, WA

BIOGRAPHY

The Team Strike Force project began in '97 with the vision of Luke Abrams and a singular acoustic guitar. Abrams enlisted members of active local indie and punk bands (Suffering and the Hideous Thieves, Ninety Pound Wuss, Roadside Monument, Hidari Mae etc.) that collectively rack up two decades worth of extensive touring and a twenty plus release indie label discography between them. Since their inception, Strike Force have been given a liberal amount of creative license to experiment with their sound without relying on pre-made templates of traditional worship music. The creative results can be aurally jarring but more often than not is an elated, inspiring mishmash of melodically textured beauty and jagged rock & roll tension.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov) Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany! Feel free to download my music!
