About
Taishi is one third of the Tartarus Sound Crew. Taishi spent years mastering five intsruments; Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drums, Viola, and Violin. In 2003 he started searching for a music that was more structally sound. He found that sound in September of that year. That sound was Electronic Dance Music. He instantly fell in love with Breakbeat Hardcore. In December, he joined a rave event company called Krome Studio Productions and helped throw numerous events with them. While throwing events with Krome Studio, he started a production company of his own with Cynispin called Tartarus Productions. Tartarus Productions was a company focused on throwing quality underground events with the regions top talent while giving bedroom djs their first shot at the spot light. In the middle of 2005, he disbanded Tartarus Productions to pursue his own creative passions. In April of 2005, he started the Tartarus Sound Crew with long time friend Cynispin. Since then Taishi has been doing what he does best djing and producing Hardcore Breaks, as well as Hardstyle. Finally in 2006, he joined up with Evil Empire to help through the widely acclaimed Cyberraver parties every month. Taishi is an up and comer and a force to be reckoned with.
Tartarus Sound Crew Info
Tartarus Sound Crew is a group dedicated to producing oldskool style hardcore flavored with elements of Drum and Bass, Hip-hop, Jungle and Ragga.Tartarus Sound Crew is a group of producers dedicated to reviving the oldskool rave vibe and sound by producing oldskool themed hardcore flavored with elements of modern Drum and Bass, Breakbeat, Hip-Hop, and Ragga. This group currently consists of three members: Cynispin (Hardcore Breaks/Breakbeat/Drum and Bass), Taishi (Hardcore Breaks/Hardstyle/Drum and Bass/Hip-Hop) and Reakt One aka Cinder (Drum and Bass/Psytrance/Hip-Hop). Cynispin and Taishi are transplants from a production company named Tartarus Productions that was created in 2004 to push the harder sounds of the underground while giving bedroom djs their first shot at the spotlight. Latter after seperating from Tartarus Productions they formed the Tartarus Sound Crew. In 2006, After being blown away by Reakt One's vicious Drum and Bass Productions and Gangsta Rap influenced dj sets, Taishi and Cynispin offered an invitation to Reakt One who instantly joined the Tartarus Sound Crew. Now They are an unstopable force.
Personal Info
As you can see music is a huge part of my life and always has been. I spent my whole life in the music world. Outside of music, my life consists of a high respect for friends. Also, I have a mammoth interest in Asian Culture and Asian Languages. As a matter of fact, my major in college is Foreign Language with a specification in Asian Languages and Culture, and I will further specialize in Japanese. Furthermore, I love to read, play rugby, spend time with friends, go to the theatre (real theatre not the movie theatre), and whatever else comes my way
Story Time
Once upon a time in the land underneath the toaster there was a magical gnome name Piffle. Piffle was a sad little gnome, and do we know why? Yes but I’m not going to tell you. So anyways, Piffle the magical toaster gnome woke up one morning and decided he didn’t like being a toaster gnome. So he climbed out from under the toaster and got squashed by a fly swatter, and do you know why he got smushed by the fly swatter? Yes, it was because he wasn’t really a magical gnome… he was a fly that thought he was a magical gnome.

We sit side by side
You so comfortable
While I look calm outside
Inside my mind is unraveling
So happy to be beside you
