The heat was stifling. The humidity brutal. The music threatened to puncture my eardrums and shatter my spine. I was loving it. The only problem was my imminent lack of funds. Like the greedy oil-magnate I was at heart I decided to tap into my strategic cab-fare-reserve. Walking home was always an option. Sobering up wasn't.
