I am an artist living in the Metro Detroit area named Scott Babcock - A self employed photographer / designer / musician. Starlite Transport is my electronic project. I have been a musician my whole life (31 years old), but more important, I have CREATED music my whole life. I play guitar, piano, synth, drums, sing, etc. In Starlite transport, everything is mainly electronic (synth, piano, etc) with the exception of guitar. Any vocal work will NOT stand out as vocals.As far as inspiration, I am influenced by the beauty around us...the world is a very scary, and often terrible place, but we have to look at the positive gifts that are all around. I also love listening to artists such as Takagi Masakatsu, Susumu Yokota, Kiln, Brian Eno, Belong, Stevie Wonder, George Benson, Aphex Twin, M83, etc. I am currently interested in finding a home for Starlite Transport (label, that is).
