sQuare productions is a Boston-based film company making a movie about techno that's not about techno. Speaking in Code documents, in a fresh-looking, verite style, a series of colorful characters -- producers, promoters, DJs, journalists - who live and work in the world of underground techno. We follow them as they fight to succeed and triumph.
Universal themes about the struggle of a community, the acceptance of art and the humanity of artists come through in over 230 hours of unedited footage.
