The Spaceshots says:

RELEASED: 2003 / LABEL: Hearbox/Cherrydisc / STYLE: Loud, anthemic ultramelodic pop-rock singles / SOUNDS LIKE: Green Day, Foo Fighters, Weezer, Superdrag, The Cars / NOTES: This was recorded over a 6 month period or so, during days we could manage to fit into our schedules. We would run to Q Division studios in Somerville, MA, meet our producer Tom Polce (and old friend, who made the experience comfortable and enjoyable) and rip through as many layered guitar parts and vocals as we could before 4am. We were on a budget, funded by a local label (then called Hearbox, now back to Cherrydisc), and even made CD copies. Then we decided to put it online, in its entirety, as a free download. Since then the MP3s have been downloaded tens of thousands of times, all over the world. / PUBLISHING: 'Somedaze' was featured in an episode of 'Knock First' on the ABC Family Channel. Three songs from Siren Sounds were licensed to an independent film called 'Welcome to Earth' (Mean Time Productions).
