I'm a complicated woman, and nobody understands me but my....
Ah, nevermind.
I am a cipher: A cipher, wrapped in an enigma and smothered in secret sauce. (Mmm ... secret sauce....) I'm fiercely private and have learned from experience to trust cautiously and keep my thoughts mostly to myself; even my closest associates have never known me all that well ... and that's really how I prefer it. (If you'd known some of them, you'd understand why....) I'm a cryptic, oblique introvert (an INFP, if you're into that sort of thing — and every profile I've read has been unnervingly accurate), though I open up more if I feel safe, which usually takes a very long time. I have a mouth that could peel the paint off a battleship, an imagination that would make the drunken sailors aboard blush, and a tendency to be too sarcastic and self-aware and passionate for my own good — and too honest and cynical and moody for anyone's good — and I'm obsessed with perfect decorum and proudly (if perhaps a bit defiantly) old-fashioned. Beyond that, I'm just your average nature-lover health-freak grammar-bitch history-geek germaphobe chocoholic who lives for music, art, Macs, words, food, Monty Python, and animation.
Sense of Humour
An episode of Six Feet Under written by Monty Python and Mae West and executive produced by Larry David. In other words: Dark (well, fairly morbid, actually), dry, surreal, risquê, subtle, esoteric, and just a little bit dangerous.
I Speak
English (duh) and French. Enough German to understand Kraftwerk and order from Amazon Germany. Enough Japanese to order two kinds of sushi and describe three kinds of porn. Enough Spanish to ask you where the bathroom is if we're in Tijuana, but not enough to understand you when you tell me.
