i'm a musician in birmingham, al. i record and perform with the spots, an ambient-rock-improv quartet of sorts and wiseblood, an evolving project with ashby pate, which formed from the ashes of our previous band... the ashes in 2006. the spots released a live-in-the-studio ep in july 2007 and will be releasing another ep soon. wiseblood will be releasing a debut ep in early 2008 on the weownthe sky label. i mainly play bass in these two bands, along with some random drumming. recently i've been fortunate to tour with through the sparks, john p. strohm and duquette johnston - as a touring drummer and/or utility player. my own demos and experiments are posted here as ten29. i'm affiliated somewhat with skybucket records and superphonic records and i'm a partner in the new label/media group, weownthesky llc. i fiddle around with photography, design, video and promotion as needed. i'm fascinated by crop circles and 1960's americana. i have a blog here, which is my greatest accomplishment in life, thus far.
