My God

The best decision I ever made in my life was to follow Jesus Christ. When Jesus said, "I have come that you may have life, and have it to the fullest," He meant it. I think it is sad that in modern day America, Christianity is painted as a vanilla, Republican club that has no fun.

My Travel

I had a life long goal to visit every state in the United States. Well, by the age of 22 I had reached 47 of the 50. So I have decided to change my goal: to visit every country in my lifetime. While there are 195 countries (if you count the Vatican, Palestine and Tawain; which I do), I have only hit 19. But I still got 50 years.

Andy Borgmann's Domestic Travel Map Andy Borgmann's International Travel Map

Countries visited: (Countries in Chronological Order - Links Go To Photos) United States of America, France, Mexico, Honduras, Antigua, Canada, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Greece, Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Netherlands, Italy, San Marino, Venezuela, Australia, Japan

Country I'd Like to Visit the Most: Iran

Next Scheduled Trip: NOTHING :-( Who Wants to Plan a Trip

Next Trip That's Not Scheduled Yet (Who Wants to Join Me?):

Sweden, Norway, Finland, & Denmark (My heritage) or
England, Ireland, Scotland & Wales (even though Scotland & Wales are "technically not countries"...don't believe me, it's true!)

great layout! Your goal to visit the states and then the countries amazes me - I've never been out of the US except to Cancun, and only seen four states. Wow! I am going to sweden this august - we'll at the very least have to compare experiences.

My Videos

"Alpharetta on Fire"

I produced this video for my church in Alpharetta, GA. Out of over 200 videos I have done, it is one of my favorites. What I love about this video is how it challenges us all to rethink how we spend our money in order to bring a better life to others. It features the song "World on Fire" by Sarah Mclaughlin
"Global Sunday - Fix You"

This video was one of 8 videos produced for our Global Sunday service. Global Sunday's main objective is to inspire people to get involved on the global missions scene one way or another. This particular video focuses on people who want to support missions but don't think they can go on a mission trip. It also aims at showing people how they can use their money to do powerful things. It features the song "Fix You" by Coldplay. It is similar in flavor to "Alpharetta on Fire," but don't worry, these are the only two videos out of 200ish that are like this.
"Ministry Around the World"

This video was produced for our Global Sunday worship service. It highlights our different ministry partners in 9 different areas (8 different countries). The overall challenge of the morning was to inspire people to get involved on the global missions front one way or another.
"Lauren Finlay - Holiness"

This is one of the more recent videos I have done. Lauren's testmioney was a great one on how to be a faithful Christian in public school
"God 1st Gum"

"God First" was my University's motto. So we decided to make fun of it for a chapel video: enter God 1st Gum. We all had a good laughs.
"Wallace Wipes"

Jon Wallace was my University's President. So we decided to make fun of him in a chapel video: enter Wallace Wipes. My favorite line is "wiping you clean presidentially."
"Worship Date"

I would like to take credit for the creativity, but in actuality it is the creative genius that is Bryan Taylor. Although this shows a good example of what we can do in a "live environment." There was no post-production involved in this video.
"College Busyness Video"

This video was done to the Casting Crowns tune "American Dream." Its purpose was to show how freakin' busy we are sometimes, and the rest of the chapel focused on how to slow things down.
