Scott Goodwin was born in Berkeley, Calif. in 1983 and lived in various parts of the San Francisco Bay Area until 2001. While attending the University of Washington, Seattle he co-founded Bonus with Jamie Potter and Matt Carlson. He was an active volunteer, an intern, and a show manager at all-ages music epicenter, the Vera Project, as well as press officer and collective member for avant and free music venue, Gallery 1412. Since 2006 he has lived in Portland, Or. as a vegan cook, free improviser, electronic music composer, freelance writer, and sometime student of Hindustani classical music. He continues to be a troublemaker, somehow.
