Joshua sage Newman // Artist - Art Director - Designer - Animator - Photographer

I'm an artist. I have a lovely wife, and a beautiful child. I'm blessed to be able to do what I love and pay the bills at the same time. I was born and raised in Nashville,TN. I capture images. I enjoy the photographic process. I received formal training at the University of Tennessee, I graduated with a BFA. I worked for a major Nashville record label 4 years. I spent my time overseeing photo shoots, video shoots and designing CD packages. I'm a designer, an art director, an animator, a painter, an illustrator, and a photographer. I'm absorbing the situation, adding my sensibilities, and asking if this is "the best that can be done." I sleep in when possible. I wake up far too early, far too often now. I have an unhealthy relationship with my coffee maker, and the local pizza place. I'll take pictures of just about anything. I'll probably pass on your wedding photos. I tend to cry at weddings and this would be unprofessional. I shoot for artists, labels, agencies, publications and corporate assignments. I also run the graphic design firm st8mnt.comwith my wife.
