Alright, here's the low-down... and, it's not really a low-down so much as.. just some fun-filled facts about me. Low-down sounds like its some special or secretive info. Yeah... not the case.
Okay, anyway..I'm Ryan. I play some music. I do all the recording at my house. I'm pretty proud of myself for that. It's not a bragging thing, just something where.. I know if it was some other 19 year old kid doing it, I'd be like "hey, that's kinda cool.." so I've decided to say the same about myself. I don't claim to be an excellent musician, but I'm a pretty nice guy, and in the long run, I think that's the more important thing anyway.
Right now I'm in the process of recording a demo CD.. I'm having physical discs made, and I'm also getting the songs up on iTunes. I'm starting to realize how much work actually goes into that. From doing the actual recording, to filling out copyright paperwork, to arranging for the manufacturing of discs and designing the album art, etc. In theory, it's going to include fresh new recordings of the songs that are currently on my profile (the ones labeled DEMO). I keep coming up with new stuff lately, though.. so there's really no telling what is going to end up on it by the time it makes its way to iTunes.
I end up playing a bunch of cover songs, especially when I'm with other people. They sing along better that way, and I like that. I don't usually do the "Hey Ryan, you should learn this song!" thing though, cause the reason I play the songs I play is because they mean something to me, and if people sing along, it's a good indication that the song means something to them, too. I mean, that's how people connect through music.
I really enjoy listening to Secondhand Serenade, the Rocket Summer, Jack's Mannequin, Copeland, Hellogoodbye, and about a million others. The list is constantly changing though. This is probably outdated as you read it.
Um... yeah! That's about it. I really like hearing what other people think of the stuff I do, so be sure to leave a comment or send me a message. It will pretty much make my day. No joke. :)

OMG, so 19 and doing all the recording at your house huh? That's pretty nice. Like the music. Hope the process is moving smoothly, lol.

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!

What do you need to know? We will only need one in august if we don't hire another full time person. I will keep you updated if you would like.
