I like reading, writing, listening to podcasts, riding my motorcycle, and goofing around on the internet. My degrees are in technology and networking, but I was a public librarian for many years. I 'retired' as director of our local public library at the end of 2006, and now run my own business. I am very happily married, and a proud parent of six daughters ages 10, 10, 12, 14, 14, and 15. My favorite color is black, I love Italian and Mexican food, have never been, nor will I go, bungee jumping. I ride a Honda VTX 1300 whenever the weather is nice, and sometimes even when it's not...

Video Description: Cool footage of a White-lined Sphinx Moth (Hyles lineata) in my front yard the evening of 2007-04-11. It's often referred to as a hummingbird moth because it can easily be mistaken for a young hummingbird because it resembles hummingbirds in size and behavior.
