NDA makes Ray a dull boy. 1 week ago
Well, hello again!
I've been working sixteen to twenty hour days for a couple of weeks. Multiple snow, skate, surf, and clothing lines. Band merch. Logos. Lettering. An art book for Comicon.
Almost all of it is NDA, though. I've posted a few things to Flickr that are publi...

"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." (Vladimir Nabokov) Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!

only three years? that's extremely impressive! and, no, i've never used flash. i'd love to learn. i'll probably have somebody bootleg it for me, someday. but, yeah, the program i use for all of my digital art is an out-of-production windows art program that came, originally, as a part of the microsoft office suite. it's called m.s. photodraw 2000 (version 2.0). nobody uses it, but i like the pen tool better than any program i've ever used. no handles or toggles. it works as much like a real pen as a mouse tool can do (aside from the freeform pencil tool, which is always too wobbly for me). obsolete by seven years, but it certainly gets the job done. the original copy i had was a bootleg, so i had no handbook. i kind of invented things by using the program in ways it wasn't intended to be used. taught an old dog new tricks, i guess.

Yeah, seeing you on Steve's page reminded me that we hadn't done that yet! The new work in your Flickr is fantastic, as usual!

Glad the book got to you safely, but WOAH, you don't have to send a whole book of sketches in response. I'll be way more than jazzed to have one sketch to hang on my wall.
Oh, and here's a banjo bot! :D
