About Me

I am a web and multimedia designer/developer in the Bay Area. I have designed, managed and deployed websites and multimedia packages for the last 12 years all of varying sizes and technical needs. I am experienced with XHTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails, PHP, MySql, Java-Script, Flash, XML and Action-Script in both wysiwyg and hand-coded environments. I work hard at making standards based web-sites browser and platform compliant, as well as efficient and usable for my client and their users.

Apart from graphic and layout skills for web and print media; I am also capable of producing, editing and encoding video content for the web and/or other outlets such as DVD production. I have also developed material and techniques for giving consultation and support for computer software and hardware for new to intermediate users. This includes providing assistance in problem diagnosis, debugging, repair and software techniques for users' self maintenance.

I am a punctual and efficient worker and am able to be productive on my own or with a group. I learn new skills and techniques quickly; while I prefer researching and applying these new skills on my own, I welcome outside constructive criticism and creative insight. I try to bring balance and intensity to the team as well as a keen eye for the hint of an innovative idea or suggestion. I work diligently on improving my technical skills through experimentation, applied research and exploratory development.
