I made a new layout here. It looks basically how I envisioned it, but the CSS is sort of messy with lots of redundancies, and I can't get the comments textarea to be toggle off by default, and it'll probably look weird and unbalanced if I have more than a few comments, but I'm more or less pleased with how it turned out.
