We finished our final recording session for our next album "Plague called huMANity" last night (and snapped a couple shots to mark the occasion). 2 years after the completion of "Beyond Repair", our next full length concept has been summoned from the shadows and manifested into something real.

We have a new Prometheus Burning song uploaded to our Myspace profile! This vocally experimental track is entitled "s33d", and will be featured on our upcoming "Retribution" record coming soon from Thac0 Records.

As far as local shows go, that was definitely our largest Pittsburgh audience thus far. It was very uplifting to see there are still people here who enjoy and support local/underground Industrial music, as opposed to just talking like they do. We truly appreciate it.

This show is no longer considered a "release party"... it is now a "pre-release party". Thac0 records received the test presses for our new record "Retribution" and discovered some audio artifacts at the beginning of a song, so now the engineer needs to cut a new plate to send to the pressing plant. This is only a minor delay and quite common when engineering vinyl records, but unfortunately it means the records will not be ready in time for the show. *imagine a big ascii sad face here*

Join Prometheus Burning for a naughty night of debauchery and dancing presented by Elise's Playground! In celebration of our new record "Retribution", this will be our first performance of 2008, kicking off the new year right here in Pittsburgh with plenty of fresh material. The record will be on sale at this show exclusively before it is available anywhere else. We are also introducing our newest live member "Molly" who will be performing with us on stage.

Pittsburgh City Paper writer and local show promoter Manny Theiner called us out of the blue Thursday morning asking to do a phone interview concerning the upcoming record. We were caught of guard, but we very willingly obliged. Nothing like a little chaos to start the day. The end results were published yesterday in the Pittsburgh City Paper, and this morning on the Pittsburgh City Paper website... and now we are pasting them here for everyone else to read. Rock on.
