About

My name is Jon Ashcroft and I'am a 23 year old graphic artist. PostScript Design is the embodiment of my creative dreams and the face of my freelance efforts. I recently recieved my Bachelors of Fine Arts with empahsis on graphic design and photography from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces New Mexico (for those of you that don't know New Mexico is part of the U.S., no I don't speak spanish and yes you can drink the water although its not advisable). I'm an interdisciplinary artist to the point of having an identity crisis and studying for the applied arts in a fine arts program has only added to the strange variety that is my visual vocabulary. I am a Frankenstein of sorts but I think its all for the better since being a second rate anything is not in my game plan.

Influences

I'm influenced by a lot of things, so many in fact, that sometimes I think my head might just explode. Yet I spend many a late night hours listening to the music I love and studying the work of artists who's talent bewilders and frightens me. Here is a look at just a few of those influences.
