we're going to start playing shows again!!! Apr 10
hey there friends!!! guess what! we're going to start playing shows again after four or five months off!!! our first one is going to be at the uptown in the east bay!!! we hope to see you there!!! -dw c/o postcoitus
what's the deal with postcoitus?
postcoitus is a dance music project. derek w and derek m make music with the hope that people will enjoy it and then dance. we are currently working on new things. we will begin to play again in april. thanks for your interest!!! -pc
what's the deal with these songs?
well. we have a compact disc that was put out a while back my disco shawn of live 105 and KALX. it is entitled "build your own circus." since then we've bought a bunch of new equipment and have been implementing it all together. we've also been writing new songs. the album that's called "in pro gress" is not real. it's just where we're going to put some roughs of songs that we're in the middle of making. you know. just in the hopes that they will get you excited for when we start playing shows again. they aren’t mastered or anything and for the most part are very unfinished. so don't take them too serious. they're just meant to be teasers. -pc
where does postcoitus play?
up until now we've just played everywhere we were asked to. from houses to warehouses to small clubs to big venues. from now on however, we are going to be a lot more picky. we have a woman named jenny that will be handling our booking from now on. she can be reached at the email address : booking@fundamonium.com - p.s. we love to play house parties. so don't be shy with her. she's all business but if you tell her about a house party and we can make it, we'll do it for free. even if she says we won't. -postcoitus@fundamonium.com
