Started making electronic music in June 2006, and ultimately released the debut album one year later. Growing up through the middle and high school years, I never really listened to any electronic music genre...at the time mainly listening to rock and metal. In fact, I never purchased an electronic album until the last few years of college. Okay, I guess I did listen to a little bit back in high school...FILTER's 1995 release, Short Bus, did have electronic programming. Back then at that time however, I didn't realize their use of those devices was the case. It always helps to read everything, and not just look at the pretty pictures. Actually, the only picture on that album happened to be on the very back of the traycard. It was in the album booklet I discovered that they admitted to using electronic devices in the making of that album. Having said all this, there must be some point. Please, read on.
Some musicians believe that "computer" music isn't true music. So, I guess if you don't make your own guitar, piano, microphone and so on, you aren't a true musician. Regardless the means (analog or digital) and tools (analog or digital) used for creation, it is the vision of the artist in the end that makes a composition possible. Anything less would be compromising. I like analog and digital.

Currently, the CD is the only version available. At some point, all tracks will be released digitally. Check back for release information. Much like the music is a form of 'art', so to is the packaging. It is ultimately about the music, but the art associated with the music offers the listener a tactile physical and visual experience. Plus, if you don't like the music, you at least have the album art to enjoy. And if you don't like the album art, then you'll just have to wait for the next release or go elsewhere to satisfy your musical thirst. Just over 300 copies of this album were made, so be sure to get your hands on one, or two, or three. Seven tracks total 50+ minutes worth of music!
