Polaroids of Androids is about music. It is the little piece of paper with some details written on it that got you into a much larger building to see even larger than life personalities that you idolise and worship and admire making noises from instruments made of wood and metal and plastic and electronics and other various materials that became a sum of more than their parts, and projected these noises across the room towards you and around you and past you and made you feel great inside, and made you love people that you would normally walk straight past in the street without noticing, and made you forget that you just worked 14 hours straight, and that your feet hurt, and that you have been evicted, and that some people saw your genitals last night when you maybe had a few too many drinks and were wearing pants that were way to loose for how loose you were at the time.
We like music, just like you, so our aim is to enlighten you to all sorts of musical musics, and to teach you things about your old favourites, or your new favourites, or your in-between favourites.
To the left you will see one such effort to enlighten you. It is our semi-regular podcast, and although we could be more vigilant with doing new episodes, we think it at least gives you an indicatin of what we do, what we are about, and what we are trying to achieve. Click away to have a listen, then come to the site for a real look at what we do.
Gagosian Liga says:
"We all admire the spangled acrobat with classical grace meticulously walking his tight rope in the talcum light; but how much rarer art there is in the sagging rope expert wearing scarecrow clothes and impersonating a grotesque drunk! I should know." Thank you for your friendship! Musical greetings from Munich/Germany!
