The Perfect Kiss is the name which gives homage to that "perfect moment" as defined by Akira and Ruby, co-creators of one of the most entertaining and addictive bands to come out of Chicago.
Known as Akira among Chicago's neo/new-wave crowd, Perfect Kiss front-man and vocalist represents the latest incarnation of the unsung generation of Latino artists/DJ and producers, contributing to electronic music. Together with the delightful Ruby, the petite post-wave princess, and their new prodigy drummer Fonzi, The Perfect Kiss combines a fiery live energy with lush analogue synths and heavy electronic beats influenced by bands such as SoftCell, The Cure, New Order, Yazoo and Depeche Mode.
