Nation X Records is a company dedicated to finding, developing, and recording Chirstian Artists.
In 2001 founder Johnny Ramirez traveled to South Africa where he ministered in several worship conferences. While there he had a vision. In the vision he saw a Zulu warrior hand him a gold nugget.
Later while in conference, the Lord spoke to him saying, "I have given you the hidden for you have been hidden yourself". At the time Johnny really didn't understand what that meant, he thought that it might pertain directly to the musicians and singers that he was working with there in South Africa, but didn't have a clear understanding.
A few years later, while ministering at a church in South Texas, the pastor was preaching and he spoke on the topic of the widow woman who was in danger of losing her two sons in order to pay for her debts. (2 Kings 4:1-7) The prophet asked the woman what she had in her house and she quickly answered "nothing, save for a pot of oil".
As the pastor mentioned this, all of a sudden he turned to where Johnny was sitting and walked directly toward him and pointing at him said, "What do you have in your heart that you think is nothing, yet God will use it to care for you and your family for the rest of your lives?"
He went on preaching and kept coming back to the same point for a total of three times, and every time he heard the words "Record Label" in his spirit. The first two times he argued with God saying things like..."What am I going to do with a record label, just get a bunch of other people all frustrated like myself" "What good would having a record label do?" "I know I can make a good record, but who would hear it?"
Yet everytime it was the same thing. Finally, when he heard the same thing again, he answered differently..."Okay Lord, if you want me to start a record label I'll do it, I don't know exactly what to do, but I'll trust you!"
In that moment Johnny heard the same words he had heard years before in South Africa..."I have given you the hidden for you have been hidden yourself".
Since then the Lord has been faithly guiding Johnny to those that He has hidden. These are people that are gifted and anointed but that for reasons known only to God he has hidden them.

...I truly believe that God is not through with him yet and the enemy has really been working overtime on trying to stop God's work through him, but thanks to the prayers of so many of you, the enemy is losing Ground....PRAISE THE LORD!
