My Imaginary Life is the musical project of singer/songwriter Jessica Emelia, 28. Rooted in indie pop/rock, folk, and electronica, her demo album (created for the on-line 2007 RPM Challenge) is an eclectic mix of wide-ranging musical styles. With lush instrumentation, wispy vocals, and sweeping melodic lines, My Imaginary Life is an indication of limitless possibilities, showing just how much can be accomplished with one woman and her guitar, a computer, and a living room.

Ace work! I see where the Beck Influences come in - very varied, but still cohesive. My favourites are 'Around The World', which is deliciously spooky, as is 'Train', and I'm always a sucker for a tale, so 'When Carla Comes Back To Town' is another one. More, please! Cheers! Glide

Hey, Jess. Just stopped by to say hello. Been listening to your songs pretty frequently, including at home with the CD. I must say there are a few albums that I have that I like just about every song, and yours falls into that category. :-) I've made a lot of friends on this site, too, so I'll stop by again from time to time just to catch up. Best regards. ER
