Murders & Mysteries is the musical solo effort from Chicago-based designer Naz Hamid. Formerly of the now defunct post-hardcore band Dolorous Canter, Hamid makes music that combine dance-influenced beats with anthemic and thematic melodies to create songs that "...feel like they're from a movie in my head."
The track Antiloper features vocals by Jen Schuetz.
Quick Mini FAQ:
I use Apple's Garageband to put the tracks together in the final form. I do use Audacity occasionally for infinite tweaking and I previously used Ableton Live but switched to Garageband fulltime when the PC it was on died. I also use MicroSynth for keyboard input. Some instruments are recorded through a variety of ways before committed to the computer or are played directly into the computer.
Thanks for the kind words.

I've made two songs now available for download, Antiloper and The Restless & Gifted. They may not be the final versions that appear on the EP, but are close enough.

I'm digging your tunes, dude. They not only seem like they're from a movie from your head, but one from mine too. So cinematic. Great job!

Really good stuff. Enjoyed the downloads of Restless & Gifted and Antiloper. Can't wait to hear more. Have you ever heard of a musician called Milosh by any chance? Very similiar style...I think you might dig him.

I really like your music. I love the peaceful, serene feel of it. It kinda reminds of a couple Postal Service tracks. Do you have any more tracks to put? The fans want more.
