VIRB

You know you are officially part of the "office world" when you find yourself standing with a group of others in the kitchen at 8am making jokes and patiently waiting for your co-worker to finish setting out his bi-weekly gift of bagels and cream cheese. I got a cinamon rasain one- yum! It has been far too long since I blogged- actually there's alot I still need to do, lol, but I had a few moments while sipping my earl gray and devouring my friday bagel, so I thought I'd write a bit about this last month and half... I know you all missed me :) lol. It has been unbelievably busy! with no real signs of slowing down just yet. Bing has been on call almost non-stop, and my work has been one thing after another. I am learning exchange, and I am the IT rep for an office move, plus my normal daily issues- I think last night was the first time in a while i felt like I took a moment to breathe and be lazy-b4 bing had to head off to another job site... sigh. oh and I got a car! a little 88 fiero gt. I am loving her! she gets out of the shop today for the weekend and goes back on monday to complete inspection so I can get her put in my name! I can't wait! A part of me says that having her will help alot because currently I work all week and then join bing on many evening and weekend jobs, but with Inora (my car) I will be able to go visit friends instead, but then, I do like helping bing... I mean he works all week and then has to work evenings and weekends, and its fun time together- even though I admit I get bored or tired halfway through, but after the fact, i look back and say, it was an adventure to say the least, lol.... I needed her though. As I mentioned above the office I am located in is moving and there is no segway path to the new building... and right now I am constantly having to bum rides, etc over there to take part in meetings, walk throughs, etc...
And counseling! I really need to schedule another "pre-martial" counseling (lol)- we only have like 2 or 3 chapters left- but Brian has been on constant call. When we thought he finally wouldn't be (this week) they sent his partner out to Ohio so he is again... and its' the worst becuase I could call and schedule a counseling session for us, but the last two we had to cancel last minute cuase he got a call- there's a chance we'll make it, and a chance we won't. and the next week (near the end of the month) when he should finally be off call again, I'm on call again, lol (at least mine's only like every 6-7 weeks...) Plus I'll be in the heart of moving time... the finallizing stage where who knows when and where they'll need me as they try to get the building ready for office personell.....
anywho- i'm telling much more than many would care to read, so I think i'll wrap it up. lol.. besides a temp user just walked in and I have to set him up so adios amigos!
