I am into herbs I love them and I study them.. I am studying western herbal medicine/naturopathy at the moment which i really am enjoying.. I believe good nutrition and mother nature can help maintain health and overcome illness.. Check out some wonderful herbs in my herbal album... I will add more when I have time..

I dabble in computers and web design as well as graphic design, but just as a hobby!

I also love music and I have a very wide range - depending what mood I am in...I don't limit myself to one type of genre, tho I do love jazzy/funky rhythms. I love to listen and download..

Cholesterol consumption has remained constant over the past 100 years, while cardiovascular disease has skyrocketed (in Western Societies). Why is this?. People in many other cultures (opposed to western) consume far more cholesterol in their diet yet have far less heart disease. I'll try and shed some light with some great sources of info for you.

Herb Gymnema - Destroyer of Sugar Nov 15

Gymnema has been used in India in Ayurvedic medicine for the treatment of diabetes for over 2,000 years. The primary application was for adult-onset diabetes. The leaves, when chewed, interfere with body's the ability to taste sweetness for up to 2 hours after being eaten, which explains the Hindi name gurmar - "destroyer of sugar."
